I mentioned a while ago that we were diving into the deep end with coupon shopping. Since then we have been perfecting our craft and saving tons of money (while buying a bunch of crap we probably don't need ... I see a garage sale in our future).

Walgreens and CVS had some super Black Friday sales, which actually started on Thanksgiving Thursday. We started our shopping spree with $43 ECB's (Extra Care Bucks = CVS dollars) that we had earned on previous trips. We put $13.75 on the AMEX and left the stores with $55.78 ECB's. That's right baby, those fine folks at CVS charged us only $0.97 to take this merchandise off their hands. [paid 56.75 and left with 55.78 = cost of $0.97]!
