Room #2 - Renovation

Room #2 is finished ... well, we still need to figure out the closet doors, but figured installing more windows was a higher priority. Here is our recipe for a room make-over.

Take before pics.

Please ignore the two colored cabinet doors on top ... I have no excuse. I think I just got bored with painting on the last time around. That was not a decorating decision.

Grab your demo tools and get to work.

Patch the ceiling and strip the woodwork.


Install windows.

Add woodwork.

Prime everything.

Paint the walls.

Paint the woodwork and stain the floors.

Polyurathane (or poly-uther-ane as Greg says it) the floors.

Install celing fan.

Build custom closet so everything has a home.

Voila! A couple of months and a lot of hard work = one brand new room!
